 1. Apply sunblock daily

According to the recommendations of skincare experts, at least SPF15-SPF 30 sunscreen products should be applied daily, no matter whether you are indoor or outdoor. Sunscreen should be applied on the entire face including neck and hand. It is recommended to apply a thin layer on both the face and body, which equals a shot glass's worth for the entire body and a dime-sized dollop for the face.

For dry skin, it is recommended to use moisturizers with sunscreen or sunscreen that contain hydrating ingredients. For sensitive skin, you should opt for a physical sunscreen with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide or mineral sunscreen.

2. Exfoliate regularly

A baby's skin is fully metabolized every 14 days, but a 30-year-old woman can take 28 days. Due to external environmental factors and the secretion of oil and dirt on the skin, it will cause the accumulation of old cuticles, which will affect the skin's absorption of water and nutrients. Therefore, for better skin care, exfoliate regularly according to different skin types. Exfoliation is essential to any skincare routine to help maintain healthy skin. It allows new skin cells to surface by removing dead ones

For normal skin type, exfoliate 3 times a week.

For those skin type prone to redness and irritation, you should only exfoliate once or twice a week.

When you go to pick out an exfoliator, it's important to look for expert-approved ingredients. For chemical exfoliators, keep an eye out for glycolic, lactic, and salicylic acids, as well as lesser-known acids like malic, lactobionic, and mandelic, which increase cell turnover like crazy. Plant enzymes like papaya, pineapple, and pomegranate are also great natural exfoliators for sensitive skin types. If it's physical exfoliation you're looking for, opt for gentle, natural ingredients that won't damage the skin, like pumice, poppy seeds and jojoba beads.

3. Always remove your makeup before sleeping

One mistake most people tend to make is forgetting to remove their makeup before sleep. Makeup remover before bed is a must for skincare. Makeup residues are very harmful to your skin. The skin renews itself while you sleep, and when you leave makeup on, you are preventing that from happening. The makeup and dirt will clog your pores leading to a potential breakout if your makeup contains any silicone or oil.

If you are really tired, you use cleansing cotton or makeup wipes to clean your makeup off first and clean your skin properly afterwards.

4. Wash your makeup brushes regularly

Brushes should be cleaned once a week to prevent product buildup, using a gentle soap, brush cleaner or baby shampoo. Do not use hot water, as hot water will damage the brush tissue. Then, after wetting, place the brush in a cool, dry area and let it air dry.

5. Regular washing of face towel

As our face is the most sensitive part of our body, it is important to change face towels more frequently than the other towels. Its is recommended for face towels to be washed after every three to four uses, towels are often warm and damp, making it the perfect ground for bugs and germs

6. Wait 40 mins after exercising to clean your face

Many girls who like sports will sweat a lot after exercise. At this time, although they will feel sticky, they should not take a shower immediately.

Because during exercise, the body temperature rises causing your facial pores to be l open, and a lot of sweat stains will be discharged. Hence, the capillaries in the whole body will be congested. If you take a bath immediately, you will stimulate the skin pores and capillaries to contract, and the skin dirt cannot be effectively discharged, affecting the skin condition.

Therefore,  it is advisable to wait for 40 minutes after exercise to let the body calm down, and then perform body and facial cleansing and care in order to achieve a good skincare effect.
